The RPM TL2+ Case Packer Loading Produce Into Shipper Trays
The RPM case packer creates groups of produce clamshells or topseal containers and packs them into produce trays.
The RPM TL2+ small footprint, produce case packer is used in many consumer goods applications, including frozen food, pharmaceuticals, beverage, produce, and CBD. In this application the high-performance machine is packing pint-size topseal and clamshell containers as well as 2 pound bowls of tomatoes into produce trays and MUB boxes. It achieves speeds of up to 240 pints per minute, or 160 two-pound bowls per minute.
The product handling infeed system accepts a single stream of randomly spaced products and creates groups of products ready to be picked up. Trays and boxes are automatically positioned for loading. Utilizing a proprietary RPM robot and a Rockwell controls package, the robot picks up products and places them in rows into the product trays and MUB boxes.
